100cm x 15cmThis aconitum was given to me by a gardener in Western Southland 30years ago. It's ID was not known to him. The closest I have come up with is A. carmichaellii which is an autumn flowerer but my plant flowers mid summer and is the first aconitum to flower for me. This plant does not set seed for us so has to be propagated by division. Its flowers are deep gentian blue and its foliage dark shiny green.
