Requires a normal soil, either in pots or in theopen garden.Soil should be well drained and they appreciate shade at mid-day. If the soil is heavy, add some gravel or sand. A mulch of gravel around the plant will avoid rot over the winter if it is wet.
'Harlow Carr' is a whitish coloured auricula this is a seedling from it and it's colour is just beautiful. The foliage is slightly serrated. Full sun in well drained soil. A few good sized plants available only.

A vigorous hardy candelabra primula with strong 45cm stems of orange-yellow flowers. Soon makes a nice clump. Needs a moisture retentive soil. The occasional plant will be with peachy-pink or reddish flowers. Closely related to P. beesiana.
