| A truly beautiful species from South America. Large leaves on this grand stately Salvia provide a very tropical effect. Lovely blue flowers with showy lime green calyxes appear above the leaves throughout the growing season are reason enough to grow the plant all on their own. To 1.5m tall, and as such would make a large and luxurious accent to any partly shaded corner. A wonderful backdrop for smaller plants. This Salvia is sensitive to frost. As already mentioned it likes a shaded position. We grow this is large pots on our veranda and this appears to be sufficient to over winter it with us. SOLD OUT |
