| This catmint originates from the open, grassy slopes, often by streams and lakes, of the Himalayas of Pakistan and Kashmir N. clarkei forms large, upright clumps of foliage, it bears in summer 15cm whorled spikes of pure blue (not purplish) flowers with an attractive, contrasting white blob on the lower lip.
